BECOMING A LULAROE CONSULTANT:
You love the clothes, you love the idea of making money from home, and you're ready to get started. AWESOME! I'd love to help you on your journey. I've been a consultant for over a year and have grown my business and my team as well. LuLaRoe is still a new company with it's four year anniversary just around the corner, it is one of the fastest, growing companies in the United States. But it's not without growing pains. Learning to adapt, make changes, and move forward is critical.

The business model is easy, but it is hard work and it takes time. It is however on your time, you choose how much or how little you want to spend on it. The more you spend and work on the front end the faster you'll get your initial investment back and grow your business. You decide if you want this to be a full time job for you or just something you do in your spare time. Are you wanting to just make a little extra money every month to pay extra bills or have extra spending money? You decide.

The initial Steps:
Choose your sponsor - This is VERY important! Once you choose your sponsor you CANNOT change. Your sponsor is the person who is going to train you, the person you'll go to initially for any questions. You want to select this person based on how you get a long with them and also what experience do they have. You want to choose someone who can give you the best tools possible to jump start your business. This includes a strong upline and team support. Not all teams are the same. Some consultants are basically on their own with little support. The upline that I'm connected to is strong, supportive, and successful. If you want to be successful, you want to surround yourself with a successful team.

Once you've selected your sponsor, you fill out an online application and after that is complete you are officially in the queue. Current wait times in the queue is about 8 weeks. The cost of your initial package/order is not paid until they call you.

As your sponsor, I provide training on tools to use for selling the product. Programs such as Shop the Roe, using LuLaRoe's back office, invoicing, setting up your social media platforms, and also can assisting with graphic design. If you plan to sell online having clean, clear photographs of your inventory is critical. I provide training and guidance on how to help set these items up.
Preparing for your initial inventory to arrive:
Supplies like racks, hangers, shipping packages, business cards, etc. are needed to start. I provide a list of all the supplies that I recommend and also links to buy. Spending money on racks or other items that aren't strong enough is a waste of money, I've already gone down that road of testing and trying, and replacing racks that bent like butter. The cost of these items varies on how much or how little you want to start off with.
Things I love:
Besides the super soft and comfortable clothing, the company is all about giving back to the community, having us work together as a team, and very family orientated. The company is family owned and almost every member of the owners very large family plan an important role in the growth of the company.

I've also seen first hand how items of clothing can make a difference in someone's life. A free pair of leggings that makes a ladies day who might have been having a bad day, or simply gaining their self confidence back and feeling good. A few months after I started selling last year I was talking with a customer on a military base across seas. She was pregnant and had just purchased a few pair of leggings. She really wanted to try a Julia dress but because of the distance she wasn't able to try one on and didn't want to have to send it back. While packing up the leggings, I picked out a matching Julia and sent it. I don't know why I felt like I needed to send them, but there was just something there that I just knew it was something I needed to do. You know sometimes you just have the gut reaction. A few weeks later I got a message back from her after her package arrived and this is what she sent me.

"I just wanted to say that I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety and depression with being pregnant and in another country with husband in the military. I have no friends here and when I found LuLaRoe it turned me around.... I have been confident and happy with my body and I can't believe how all these clothes flatter me so well. I received your package today and I cried! I can't even believe how nice you were to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the leggings and dress... I was so so happy opening the card and the box and just in shock. I'm going to take pictures of it all on and sent them asap! They LOOK AMAZING on. You have seriously made my whole week, month, year... I will never forget this. Thank you again."
How amazing is that? That just a few items of clothing can do that for a person? For me, that's one of the things I really love. Yes the extra money is awesome. But touching others lives there are no words.
